Luther’s triumphant hymn of God’s strong grace in Christ Jesus serves as the linchpin of this service of celebration. The individual verses of the hymn provide structure for key liturgical elements: Verse 1 introduces the Confession and Absolution. Verse 2 frames the service of the Word. Verse 3 turns us toward prayer. Verse 4 sends us on our way, rejoicing in our Savior God. Other popular Reformation hymns are included, as is a sermon which celebrates the work and Word of our “Fear Not” God. A children’s sermon is also included.
